230 and 110?  The trick about airline flights is this:  CodeShare.  The same flight could be counted up to 3 times.  Let’s say a Japan Airlines Flight arrives at BKK on Monday but they have a codeshare with American Airlines and a European Carrier.  Even thought it is one B777 but statistically speaking it could be counted as multiple flights.  30,000 passenger arrival on Monday?  Possibly if the majority are domestic passengers.

Many hotels offer the "Room + PCR test + airport transfer" package for 6,000 baht. There are more affordable deals, starting at 4500 baht for such a package. For those who in any case chooses an expensive 5 * hotel, these are not bad offers, I think.

 

Insurance ... It's still really expensive. And I still can't find offers with $50,000 coverage (i see only $100,000). I think the price should be lower for a smaller coverage.

Still enough to let people wait for the bag for more than 30 minutes after desimbark on a domestic flight yesterday

They do think highly of their fanciful manner and repeat/believe the exaggerations in the usual manner.

And with Thailand Pass up and running from Monday only, with a processing time up to 3 days, I wonder, how big the cluster<deleted> is?

I know thais who blindly booked their flights with arrival day on November 1st...And they seem to believe everything is in order, all documentation needed is cleared...

Not sure where you got your numbers from, but here are some real prices that are available now for anybody who is interested in travelling to Thailand:  PCR test which can be booked on the Thailand pass official website is Baht 2400. One of the cheapest SHA+ cerified hotels I found on Booking.com in Bangkok in November is Baht 333.

Thailand has no idea how many passengers are booked or even going to fly.

Airlines do not confirm flight manifests until after check-in at the departing country.

Pure speculation, based on arriving aircraft capacity... not bums on seats.

They didn't clarify that it's 500 actual tourists and 6,500 expats returning to their Thai homes.

Terrible fake news, or what multi millionaire is traveling cargo class. If I do not stop reading this cr@p I will go crazy, forget domestic, only report the International but the domestic make up the numbers, and if you are really struggling for numbers count the cargo crew why not.

Wow! 30,000 on the first day of reopening November 1, 2021. I wish the Kingdom of Thailand well but, it would seem to me that making such a forecast, if 30,000 do not arrive at Swampy, the statement might be construed as embarrassing to the Kingdom.

7,000 international passengers arrives on 110 international flights, which are in average 64 passengers per flight...

I know this has been raised in the past but do we know if arrival figures quoted include passengers in transit?
