Laos Confirms 1,291 New Covid-19 Cases, with Four Deaths

Today, Laos has 1,291 new cases of Covid-19 across the nation.

 

Over the previous 24 hours, 6,273 tests were completed around the nation, with 1,291 new cases verified, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

 

There were 1,291 community instances all around the country.

 

New Deaths

 

An 81-year-old man died in hospital yesterday in Kernkang Village, Thoulakhom District, Vientiane Province. He wasn't immune to Covid-19 since he hadn't been immunized.

 

A 48-year-old lady from Tha Dindaeng Village in the Xaythany District of Vientiane Capital died at Mittaphap Hospital yesterday. She had not received the Covid-19 vaccine.

 

A 78-year-old man from Phonkeo Village in Vientiane Capital's Naxaythong District died at Mittaphap Hospital yesterday. He had been properly vaccinated against Covid-19 and was suffering from pneumonia.

 

An 80-year-old woman died at 103 Hospital in Hongsaeng Village, Saysettha District, Vientiane Capital, yesterday. Diabetes, hypertension, and renal illness plagued her. She had not received the Covid-19 vaccine.
