BBC iPlayer - Problem downloading.

For the last 24 hours I've been unable to download any programmes from the BBC. I can 'live stream' programmes, which indicates that my VPN is working normally but any programme that I try to download comes back with a message saying 'DRM License failed' 

 

Is  anyone else out there encountering this problem?

This morning when I tried to access iPlayer on my android box and phone, I was forced to update the app. After the update I can download and then play programs. So all normal for me.

Streaming with VPN no problem with BBC iPlayer on MacBook but downloads fail because "DRM License Failed". Rebooting removing and reinstalling iPlayer Downloads app has not solved. Strangely though, iPlayer app on iPad does download.
