Hi,

i just moved to Hua hin with my family, we rent a condo  through a property agent.

In January i need to do a 60 day extension based on my Thai wife...

we have been living abroad in the last 5 years, if i understand well, things has changed, or at least enforced, and now you need to have a so called TM30 form report your stay...

but as everything in Thailand its enforced in some areas but not at others

anybody knows if HUA HIN immigration need this before i make my 60 days extension?

I asked the property agent girl, she have no idea what i talk about, and the owner probably not know either (a thai old man)  and i also have no direct contact to the owner...

what are my options here?  (i heard there is an online reporting where i can report myself but it rarely works?)

do i really need to bother with this? even though its the owners responsibility??  will i get refused at Hua hin immigaration if owner not report me?  or enough if i bring the rental contract???

thank you

I moved to a new condo in Hua Hin last year and was told the condo office would do the TM30, they did not.  I went to do my 90 day report (at Bluport Immigration office) and she asked where my TM30 was and I said I thought the condo office had done it.  She then created a TM30 for me and stapled it into my passport and processed my 90 day report.  So I would say, yes they do require it at some point.  Others will be along that can tell you how to submit the TM30 yourself.
