Yes, the sad sacks were buying them drinks, which was really going to the bars, and others were sitting sipping on tge one beer they bought themselves in the bar, and feeling up the ladies.   Thank you sad sacks.

It is the classic my girlfriend is different but still pay them a monthly wage

Only the bar punters are interested in where someone found their gf or wife, and the only one who ask those questions. Most of those I frequently socialise with, few ever ask those questions, and seems no one care where you met. 

 

It seems to be a gentlemans rule here in Thailand, a question no need to be asked.

Bar girls is also human being with feelings, good and bad. Seems like people forget that, and easy to classifie them as the worst of worst, but they are all as different as we are who come here to Thailand to have fun, work or retire.

Yes! Yes! Yes, I see your point.  The borderline sex offenders, men who cant find a woman in their home country, and mirror crackers often need to intoxicate,  or sedate a victim some how.  Lol.  I have actually over heard a conversation  from a worker to customer  before, that actually  supports your comment.   The punter went in targeted his choice.  The lady seemed willing, but insisted she gets a drink or two first that she could feel better about it, get numb!  Spot on with your comment.

Pricing is completely different also, as the weight and age of customer goes up, as does the price.

After my first and last experience of a woman in my own country, I'd have cut it off rather than repeat that horrible relationship.

I had a few offers, usually by women with children that wanted me to help look after them financially.
