Laos was eliminated from the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 after losing 4-0 to Malaysia in the second Group B match.

 

Against Thursday evening, Laos took on Malaysia at Bishan Stadium, kicking off the game with three goal attempts in the opening five minutes.

 

Malaysia rallied fast, with Safawi Rasid scoring three goals in the sixth, 33rd, and 80th minutes.

 

In the 76th minute, Malaysian center back Sahrul Saad scored the game-winning goal for Laos.

 

Despite the defeat, Laos coach V. Selvaraj expressed his pride in his players.

 

On Sunday, Malaysia will meet Vietnam at Bishan Stadium.
