Is it possible to have a UK Bank account while being tax resident in Thailand?
Any experience from people who have completed this questionnaire? If informing Nationwide about non residence I'm wondering what they do next. -

Woman Dies After Being Set on Fire in New York Subway
Yeah, left leaning people who believe in equality and equal justice and opportunities are not going to condemn somebody setting an innocent person on fire. What is wrong with you???? Why bring politics in to this? A horrible crime and a horrible horrible death. Take your petty attempt at political point scoring and shove it where it belongs. Sick. -

Dutch tourist allegedly escapes bills and steals from many Phuket hotels
Because (a) he may have a right to anonymity until he's been tried and found guilty and (b) no one is asking the readers of this forum to look for him. -

Just read it as well. According to this Nationwide should allow existing accounts to remain open. https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/which-banks-allow-you-to-keep-your-account-as-an-expat-aIiEs1i49WTf -

Who lives on 20k a month ?
You are correct. Danang high season is May-Sept give or take. That's when it's hot as hell and the sea is calm(er). But on the flipside it's no good for surfing then... I know Khue My and yes, far quieter and more local if I recall. Lower rents. There are excellent restaurants in Danang at fair prices. Tons of inexpensive vegetarian / vegan too, which can make for a nice change. Next time I'm back I'll check out Quy Nhon, between Danang and Nha Trang. Heard good things. Dalat is, from what I've heard, a sort of "mountain" town with much cooler drier weather. Siem Reap seems to be the locale du jour for Westerners at the moment, judging by YouTube. That concerns me a little because rents could be driven higher with so many Westerners fleeing the economic/Woke prisons of their home countries. SR has great food/drink options, and close to Angkor Wat, but from what I remember the scenery and air qual cannot match Danang. Best scenario would be if VN would offer a retirement visa. Cheers buddy -

They gave an "easy visa" to you, why shouldn't they apply the same rules to Europeans? -

Will Immigration take my bottle of duty-free away?
Are you sure about that? I think it depends if she is staying airside. I had some aftershave confiscated on a similar journey. As I say, I believe it will depend on her staying airside and that is doubtful.
