No leave – 80,000 police officers to be on duty in Bangkok over New Year

The Royal Thai Police has ordered 80,000 police officers to not take leave during the New Year holiday period between Christmas Day on 25th December and January 4th, to facilitate people travelling home and the estimated 7 million cars leaving and returning to Bangkok.

Thailand’s redundant entertainers to receive 5,000-baht social security payment

The Social Security Office of Thailand (SSO) has agreed to provide a one-time 5,000 baht support payment to nightlife entertainers, including musicians, comedians and other performers, who have been left without work since last year by restrictions imposed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thai commerce minister says exports are on the rise, farmers threaten self harm

Myanmar warned as mortar shell lands in Thailand’s Mae Sot, where Karen people seek shelter

The Thai military lodged a protest note with the Myanmar government, via the local Thai-Myanmar Border Committee (TBC) yesterday (Thursday), over the landing of a mortar-type shell on Thai soil in Mae Sot district of the western province of Tak.

Special online clinic opens to offer advice on PM2.5 pollution problem

Democrat asks for court involvement in sentence reduction
