hi iwill be in thailand for a month in june,

was wondering do you need a international licence to drive there,

would like to hire a car and drive around petchabon,north east thailand etc,any ideas

I had an accident last month. IDP expired. Just used my license from home country. No problem.

But I guess IDP would be more well received.

You won't need it to hire a care if it is in English. There is much discussion after that... :o
