Uk had 100,000 cases in one day but Thailand total of about a 100 so far.

Clearly Anutin is using his magic powers to sustain a near Omicron virus immunity for Thailand, or could it just be that foolproof tried and not tested policy that sustains the the illusion?

Uk had 100k but not all Omicron variant I believe. It still isn't the dominant yet I believe.

Major UK news outlets, across the political spectrum are reporting scientific studies confirming that Omicron seems to be less serious, less hospital usage, less ICU admissiom etc etc with the figure of less than one third as dangerous than Delta being touted..Perhaps Anutin is right but the problem is many expats want him to be wrong

Swampy you are easily confused!

Dear Mr Anutin.

Could you please upgrade the test system?

It's really not that hard to test people and by scaling up the test program for a year or so, a lot of nonworking Thais could get a job as swap testers.

Here in DK it's actually a somewhat ok paid job, which gives them the same as 150.000 baht pr month, and requires very little training.

Expensive for the government, but provides a lot of people with an income in these dark times.

I have a distinct feeling he is going to regret these statements, much like this gem...

To be fair a lot of the western experts also completely missed the target in the start of this pandemic.

It depends what he means by “handle”.

if he means stop cases occurring or spreading, I’d say he hasn’t a cats chance, alpha and delta prove that.

If he means ignoring the consequences of a large number of cases, he may be right. Anyone not severely symptomatic will get ignored by the medical system and if the news reports from the UK are accurate, omicron May result in more cases but less hospitalizations. So on that sense, omicron is “handled”.

tome will tell.

In most other parts of the world this would called racism. Also factually inaccurate.

Wonder if he understood what DMHT really is an abbreviation for:

This refers to things like mask wearing, hand washing and social distancing.

Yeah I witness this every morning, along the Sois of food, vendors picking their nose, scratching their ar#e, wiping their brow, then handing you your food and taking your money... then onto the next customer...

all with the same unwashed hand.

Anutin this statement could be your downfall, whilst you are enjoying your Xmas and New Years feast, this strain will be gathering pace, if you have a secret pkease tell the whole of Europe because they are panicking for sure and Khonkaen  and Kalasin have seen the start with Omicron showing itself.
