I got a QR code before and it arrived in several hours. There is guidance that says you should apply 7 days in advance but I am in a hurry to get home and would like to cut that down to less.

Apply the same way you did last time.

On one of the screens during the application it says that uploading the QR codes of your vaccinations is optional but doing so will make for faster processing. You obviously did that and got approved within a few hours.

The longer time frame of up to seven days makes allowance for cases without uploaded QR codes and possible other complications apt to slow down the approval process.

I have seen everything from a minute to 10 days reported.

Nowadays the system is likely getting fewer applications than when Test & Go was active so maybe less delays.
