They age badly, are intensely jealous, & always seem to have a sweaty sheen about them....Possibly diet related.... They're also deeply locked into catholicism + do not offer the ready smiles that Thai people do....

It used to be that the Adam's apple was the dead giveaway but not with the medical miracles of today.  Maybe not removed but shaved down enough.  That and the bony ridge that runs above the eyes.

A long, long time ago in my early twenties while bartending a gay male waiter I worked with took me to a gay bar.  Sitting around a large elongated oval bar with an island he'd catch me scrutinising the "females."  For every one I'd look at he'd just flatly say, "Nope."  After awhile he finally educated me about all of the tells.

Why is it that there's always someone in a crowd who wants nothing more than to poo poo on a good thing?  It doesn't change the good thing in the least.  But it doesn't stop 'em from trying anyway.

KhunLA, there's no way to count the numbers of western males who see tremendous beauty in Thai females.  And I doubt any of them deny there are beautiful women in every country.  But to say, "absolutely nothing special about Thai women," is a such a full on denial of what so many men see and experience that it really comes off as a totally ludicrous opinion.

 

You see, it's not just the beauty of Thai women.  They have many other lovely attributes which makes even an average looking Thai woman attractive.  And it could well be argued that they are the epitome of femininity, evidenced in particular with their hand gestures.

 

Why anyone wants to refuse to acknowledge such splendid creatures is beyond me.

Long time ago back home I thought maybe every 100th woman looks acceptable and maybe 1 in 1000 is beautiful. After living in Thailand and visiting "home" a couple of months ago I saw exactly one beautiful woman. And I am pretty sure she wasn't interested in me.

Here is Thailand just walking on the street or sitting anywhere and watch the girls walk by there are always beautiful women.

Well, you did write, "absolutely nothing special about Thai women."   That's an unequivocal statement, e.g. having only one possible meaning or interpretation.  Absolutely nothing has no other meaning than absolutely nothing.  If you're on your 2nd Thai wife, for 16 years no less, then your statement and the fact of your situation seems to be at odds.  How do you square that?

Aside from that, I think the title of the thread is very much an opinion which, hey, I happen to share.  Do you think the title should have read, "Thailand, the most beautiful girls in the world. (Not saying they're the only beautiful girls in the world.)"  Don't you think most guys understand that's implied?

A few years back, pre-Covid, I had my 30 y.o. single son here; his first real visit to Thailand.  I took him to a bar a few doors down from Nana Plaza and we sat facing soi 4.  Not saying anything I purposely placed him in a position which allowed him to see the endless traffic going by.  He told me that he didn't think he could count all the gorgeous girls even if he had had a clicker in his pocket.

Now, do that in any high-trafficked area anywhere in the States.  The closest I came was Austin, TX on 6th Street.  But that was a college town, so not apples to apples.  Europe, though, is better than the States, IMHO.

Before I moved here permanently and shortly after I met my first Thai GF she took me to an Isaan restaurant situated on a shrimp pond on On Nut off of outer ring road (no longer there).  She spoon fed me my entire meal.  The thought which was constantly be repeated in my brain was, "They're never going to believe me when I get back home."

 

Now this makes my earlier point about even average looking Thai women being attractive.  There's just something about her and I wish I could put my finger on it.

There was a link to this photo titled "Thai Beauty Tips."  Which is kinda funny because I doubt this little lady needs any beauty tips whatsoever.  She probably looks just as stunning first thing in the morning outta bed and I doubly doubt anyone here would dispute that.  I don't think that even a great big scar across one of her cheeks would be much of a distraction.

Go into any shopping mall in the US or Australia, count up the number of beached whales and DDG females.

Do the same in Thailand. On a statistical basis, it's like a Nissan Almera taking on a BMW.
