Human trafficking police acted on a complaint from the Social Development and Human Security Ministry about a man in Loei in the north east of Thailand pimping Laotian women for sex at 1,500 baht a time.

 

Joo, 57, was available on the phone and would supply the women as ordered.

 

A sting was set up and he arrived on a motorcycle with the woman following him on another bike to a hotel.

 

The deal was that Joo got 300 baht and he'd give the woman 1,200.

 

After the deal was done he was followed and arrested by the side of the road in Nai Muang sub district and charged with pimping, reported Naew Na.

 

The Laotian woman, 30, was charged with illegal entry, into Thailand, and engaging in prostitution.

Prostitution is not only linked to entertainment venues...

A lot of unemployed females are doing the same, some are using the internet others stand in certain areas others are managed.

Gee how naive and i ?!! .... I thought the word pimp was afro-American slang word used to describe outlandish modifications to a motor vehicle

Headline says women, article says a woman. Are these “reporters” working on volunteer visas?  The editors probably know the English language about as well as Prayut.
