 I have been shopping through Lazada for several years now and find it very convenient buying especially during Covid-19. I charge all via my Chase Visa from the USA without any problems.  However this year upon our arrival I made two purchases that went through and after that all my purchases have been put into the the penalty box of "Payment Pending." I tried several times switching Visa credit cards to "No Avail"-Still "Payment Pending." I finally went onto Lazada chat and wrote to an agent that told me I needed a Thailand credit card to do any purchases after several postings. Not sure if any of you all have had the same problem but it looks like I'm in the "Payment Pending Box" with the only solution is "Cash on Delivery!" Welcome back to Thailand.  "LOL"

That doesn't  sound correct.  I been using a WF card for two years.  Visa/Mastaecard, or any international  CC should work.  I have to turn my VPN off and on sometimes.   Dont know if that helps you out.

You could top up Truemoneywallet, sometimes i use that over my UK credit card

Just used my Canadian credit card yesterday on Lazada.

But there is nothing about only Thai VISA CARD !!!!

Don't you have a Thai bank account ?

i have been using UK HSBC visa card for many years NO PWOBLEMS

I was using my US based bank debit card for years on Lazada, but every so often I'd get an email from my bank saying my card had been cut off due to possible fraudulent activity and I need to call them to turn in back on.  After the 3rd time I just switched over and now use my Bangkok Bank debit card when I can't pay with COD.  I try to use COD as much as possible, but not actual cash, I just smartphone transfer money at my door.

I use my chase credit card regularly on Lazada including a few times today. It gets declined only on rare occasions and then works again after. In the times it gets declined I use Bangkok Bank account transfer to pay.

Why not do COD at least you know it will work.

I have the exact same problem!!!!!!!!!!

I have reported it to Lazada (1) asked me for screen shots, (2) asked me for passport, etc and (3) asked for a video shot of the incident.  I am still waiting resolution for a week.  Their Customer Care is no help, just "wait sir."

Following advice, all I had to do was to remove the card I'd got registered and then add it again and go through the verification process.

 

Something must have been upgraded somewhere, so before cancelling your account you should really try delete/adding the card first.  Fixed it for me and my friends who were suffering.

This is obviously a problem with the Kasikorn Bank platform Lazada has suddenly started using. I got the same response from them to send a copy of my passport, a picture of the credit card, and a monthly statement. I said "horsesh*t". It's wholly a problem with them. I'm sure they will eventually straighten it out, as the loss of business must be huge. In the meantime, I found  a workaround by using their mobile app. The same Chase card worked fine on the app and the order was processed. Apparently, the website and mobile app don't communicate. On their website, the same items are still in the cart tagged "pending payment". On the app, they have been shipped. ????

 

Sure, I can always pay by bank transfer or COD, but I want to use my card for the rewards, no foreign transaction fee, and the ability to pay my card balance from my US bank account.

Had same experience with US based debit cards several months ago.  Got the "Payment Pending" pop-up.  I realized I had my VPN active.

Cancelled the transactions.  Made sure my VPN was inactive and ordered again.  No further issue.

I have never had such problem. I use my norwegian mastercard when I shop at Lazada and never had any problem with that.

if you still have problem you can use cash payment with delivering. I know many use that option.

I show them the money but open the package before parting with it.

I can only quote what I do, if you don't believe it that's your issue.

This is 100% a Kasikorn Bank (K-Bank) approval issue that Lazada needs to resolve with their bank.

 

My guess - it will be resolved, but not quickly.  Management moves slow.  The customers (us) must keep applying pressure.  After all, they are losing income.

lazada credit you into your lazada wallet, which you can use on next purchase, or withdraw to a bank account

I normally pay COD, but can use my Thai bank visa debit card if i need.

For weeks now Lazada has been telling me "you are signing in on a different device" I have used the same device for more than two years now, and have been telling them this constantly, yes, their customer service is dreadful, but unfortunately they have no competition, and don't mention that other disgusting lot Shopee, they won't even let me register.
