I was in Soi 6 the other evening selling Bibles, wasn't really packed, nothing like it used to be obviously, but plenty of desperate girls/women and quite a few even more desperate Farangs/ dinosaurs, altogether a pitiful sight, a tragic place really.

Yeah, it sounds like a tragic situation, especially with so many bars open that there is a shortage of ladies.

Why were the 'dinosaurs' desperate if there was indeed plenty of desperate girls/women?
