Makro

Unless something has changed recently, no ????

Only Makro branded and Thai CitiBank issued credit cards I'm afraid.

Best way is to suck it and see (with enough cash in you wallet of course). It never hurts to ask.

They do take TrueMoneyWallet but only when loaded from your bank or cash (not linked to a card).

Not tried, there's usually a card behind the checkout with acceptable cards on it, or ask at Customer Service on the way in.

Using the QR of banking app is an easy alternative

That definitely works at selected checkouts.

And all the years I never saw plastic card handed and signature or PIN entry.

I see people paying with cards but I'm fairly certain it's with a credit card, they sign a small slip of paper.

Also at the big Makro there's a row of ATMs outside their front door, I don't have info on the smaller Makro on Pattaya Nua.

Has a couple of ATMs inside the front door on the right.
