Visa exemption extension?

Featured Replies

Hello i am looking to arrive on a visa exemption from the UK. I believe this is 30 days. Is there way to extend this visa ? If so, what documents should i bring with me?

You can extend visa exempt entry by 30 days.

You would need photocopies of from you pp of identity page, your entry stamp, and your tm6 card both sides.

You may also need to provide copy of TM30 that your hotel would have done.

Is it just the one time you can do this? Or can you do it a few times? In other words, are there means by which you can extend ?

Only one extension per entry.

When do you plan to enter Thailand.

Couple of weeks time.

I was going to get a visa, but the information they ask for is soul destroying.

Tourist Visa isn't difficult.

Sometimes it looks complicated but it's a good option.

How long do you hope to stay as covid extensions are due to end March 26.

Visa exempt entry with Extension would only provide 60 day stay.

They're asking for the following information which confuses me (although that's easily done) :

1) Confirmation of legal residence in a country in which you are applying for the visa

2) A confirmation letter from employer, School, Self-assessment, Pension statement

3) Identity of the person inviting you to stay

4) Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency

I looked at these requests and lost the will to live (never mind asking me to pose holding my passport, although that is doable). Any ideas?

Have a read of this thread.

Think ubonjoe post covered some of your questions.

1/4. That is only needed if your are not a citizen of the country where you applying. If a citizen you just upload a copy of your passport photo page.

2. That is a for a multiple entry tourist visa (METV). Is that what you are applying for.

3. Not needed unless you are staying in somebody's residence.
