Test and Go. Anything else required to enter?

Featured Replies

Hi, to clear up some confusion I have:

I'm applying for a Test and Go pass. Once approved (with insurance, accommodation, PCR etc.) do I need anything else to enter?

I ask as I'm unsure if this is the actual visa. If visa , is this the MT type?

Also is it possible to extend the 30 day period?

Thanks all

Neil

Test and Go is not the visa.

Depends which country you're from and how long you want to stay, you could get a 30 day visa exemption entry (so no need of visa) when arrive in Thailand, that you can extend at Immigration for 30 days for 1900 baht.

Some other countries get only 15 day visa on arrival.

What do you mean MT type?

Sorry, MT is a medical tourist..

I'm in the UK so I have 30 days exemption I think?

Yes, you will get 30 days on entry with UK passport and you can apply for 30 days extention at immigration.

Or you can apply for a tourist visa before departure that will give you 60 days + 30

Indeed you do.

That can be extended by 30 days.

You sound as though your coming for a holiday.

Have a read of this current thread in News Forum. Travel currently has some level of risk.
