PM Prayut – APEC must be open, connected and balanced

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said that, under the Thai chairmanship, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) will be open to all opportunities, connected in all dimensions and balanced in all aspects related the Asia Pacific region in the post pandemic era.

 

Emphasising Thailand’s theme of “Open, Connect and Balance”, Prayut said the summit is driven by the country’s vision to address the imbalances caused by the pandemic.

 

Under these circumstances, Thailand wants to push APEC members to work together to achieve economic growth through the integration of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic model.
