Pick-up clue as police in Suphanburi investigate "body in trash drum" murder

A mystery woman has been found in a blue plastic trash drum in the Khao Phra sub-district of Suphanburi in central Thailand. 

 

The hands and feet of the unidentified corpse were bound. She was wearing no underwear, reported Thai Rath.

 

A blanket and a fertilizer bag were found at the scene. 

 

Pol Maj-Gen Bunyarit Rortma, deputy at Region 7 of the RTP, called a meeting at the local police station to discuss developments. They are hoping that CCTV in the area will yield results.

 

The media spoke to "Pa" (aunty) Uan who sells fruit nearby. 

 

She said that on Sunday she had seen a pick-up in the area with a blue drum in the back that had spent a lot of time by a tree.

She thought nothing of it at the time, just that it was unusual they were spending so long there. She surmised they must be measuring land. 

 

Usually there are only vehicles draining septic tanks in the area.

 

When she heard the news about the dead person she put two and two together.

        just as well she didn't take any notice of what was going on otherwise the case may have been solved already
