Sometimes you can beat the competition just by outliving them.

But 27.08 seconds is damn good for the 100 meters. It can take me that long to get another beer from the fridge (but my record is around 24 seconds).

Keep on with the workouts - - no pain no gain.

Hey if you get two on one trip does that cut your time in half?

But good on the 102-year-old sprinter, that is amazing and an example that it is possible to enjoy a very long and healthy life.  The active elderly like that have a lot to teach us about how to live well.

Viwat Vigrantanoros, president of Asia Masters Athletics said that as Thailand’s society ages, the number of participants in the seniors category has grown.

When the Thailand Master Athletes Championships started in 1996, there were only about 300 participants. Today, there are over 2,000 - their ages ranging from 35 to 102 years.

Or perhaps it has just become more popular since the year it started?   I don't think that level of increase can be put down to an aging society.

Congrats to the guy though, very impressive.  Just to be alive at that age would be incredible on its own.
