And our media are more propaganda than objective reports . . . i certainly do not take side, I only want the fighting to stop. Then we have some things we can both agree on but 400,000+ refugees is not propaganda, thousands of dead on both sides is not propaganda, Putin stating for weeks he was not going to do the very thing he did is not propaganda, Russia invading a free sovereign country is not propaganda. I wish you the best and hope cool heads prevail, by the way I am just watching Al Jazeera and if you want to see lies and propaganda then the Russian Ambassador is speaking right now and his lies are jaw dropping... 6

Popular Post Brickbat
Its the hypocritical belligerent fools —who’ve aggressively invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Libya and countless others, and who are now financially supporting the coup in Ukraine--to turn around and inform Russia that there will be “repercussions” if they too, meddle in Ukraine? . These Masters of War profit from all wars using the war mongering media to divide us all. Good on you Thailand. Doing something right. Don’t take sides in this mess that NATO has also had a big part in creating. 3 1 2 1

Correct, this thread now needs updating, Thailand endorsed this decision: In historic "Uniting for Peace" session, #UNGA adopts resolution demanding that the Russian Federation immediately cease its use of force against Ukraine and withdraw its military forces. https://twitter.com/UN/status/1499068649121984519 Thailand also issued its own statement confirming the above.

Popular Post KhunAussie52
10 hours ago, ThailandRyan said: No they will rollover like they did to Japan in WW2 Check your facts, they initially did not roll over. " Prachuap Khiri Khan was home to the Royal Thai Air Force's Fifth Wing, under the command of Wing Commander Mom Luang Prawat Chumsai. The Japanese 2nd Infantry Battalion of the 143rd Infantry Regiment under Major Kisoyoshi Utsunomiya landed at 03:00 from one troopship, and occupied the town after having crushed police resistance there. Further landings took place near the airfield to the south. The Japanese laid siege to the airfield, but the Thai airmen along with Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Police managed to hold out until noon on the next day, when they too received the ceasefire order. The Japanese lost 115 dead according to Japanese estimates,[24] and 217 dead and 300+ wounded according to Thai estimates. The Thais lost 37 dead and 27 wounded.[30] 1

He noted that Thailand will adhere to ASEAN’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine dispute, as the grouping has advocated for discussions between the conflicting parties. To be honest we all know which side Prayut will favour... But on the other hand he's alienated himself from the west who have very long memories. I hope future trade talks will remind Prayut of his current stance.

Look at Switzerland to understand this point. 3
