Thai e-visa website requires a pic ( I assume same as passport pic during the old  days mail-in visa application) uploaded into the website. Can I take a pic in my mobile phone and upload it? Has somebody done it and can tell from their experiences. Thanks. 

I did I think 3 or 4 pics for the E-visa is the USA in November and uploaded them with no issues and they were accepted and visa was issued. 

I had to do it as well, and finally I did by phone. Furhter they wanted a picture holding the photo in one hand and the passport in the other hand! Everything went fine!

Had problems today with my Tourist e-visa.  Wanted me to fill in all the supporting document requests, most of it which weren't necessary for a Tourist Visa like an ID card for the Thai national who invited you?? Wouldn't let me proceed without putting something so had to create a PDF saying I was coming as a tourist.
