Thailand's Crime Suppression Division finally caught up with a alleged rapist.

They arrested 37 year old Apinan who was named in a 2004 warrant for aggravated rape.

He was arrested outside a house in Moo 6, Fang Daeng sub-district, of Na Klang, Nong Bualamphu in Thailand's north east.

In 2003 Apinan and five others approached a woman at an entertainment venue in Ramkhamhaeng, Bangkok, before plying her with drink.

The victim was then taken to their hotel where she was given alcohol until unconscious.

She was then repeatedly gang raped.

Apinan denied the allegations and was taken back to Hua Mark police station in the Thai capital, reported Daily News

Don't know how the statute of limitations applies in this case, but it can be as much as twenty years for capitol offenses, which in some cases rape can be so judged.

The hair-piece was a good disguise?

They most likely thought he was Swiss, until they discovered he might have left finger prints or dna.
