My wife works for the government as well as running private businesses. Each year she has a compulsory medical check for her government job and sends her employees for health checks. The health checks were all done this past week.

She’s told me these health checks were compulsory.

This link has part of the Labour law in PDF format. http://www.cityu.edu.hk/searc/labourlaw/TH/html/TH_6.3.pdf

6.3 (f) may have the information you require.
