rbkk Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Shocking video that made international news yesterday. I didn't see it reported in the BangkokPost till 4AM and hidden in the sport section with no link to the video. I guess someone here in Thailand wants it buried. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/thai-player-gets-immediately-sacked-by-his-club-after-leaving-opponent-needing-24-stitches/ar-AAV0Pqs 2
Will B Good Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Saw it last night on the news.....one hell of a smack......the one punch kill type. Hollywood has a lot to answer for. 1 1
worldexpress Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 What does "sacked" mean in the story's context? Lifetime ban? Writings in some of these posts make me want the scribes sacked.
Popular Post JonnyF Posted March 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2022 Saw it on Twitter yesterday. It was in the UK press as well, a lovely image of Thai sportsmanship. The guy definitely has some Muay Thai skills but should be charged with assault in addition to being sacked. No place for that on a football pitch. Clean him out in the next 50/50 by all means but don't sucker punch (or in this case elbow) him. 4
Popular Post alien365 Posted March 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2022 Another one with serious anger management problems. The public need to be made safe from people such as this. I don't care in which country it happens. 3

It's puzzled me for decades how someone can assault someone on a field of play and get away with it, while if it happened, say, outside of a pub on a Saturday night the guy would be up in court on Monday. 3

Very true.......rugby was (is?) 10 times worse for people taking chunks out of each other.
keithsimmonds Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Nothing shocking in that footage...the only shocking part was 7 other players not joining in when the bloke was on the deck.
