Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

If Putin does not back down.....

Then, let's NUKE him.

He thinks he is the only guy with nukes?

Or, let's put a Trillion Dollar Price on his piggy head.

Time to OFF the Putin.

And, then, we can all get back to living our lives.

Life is hard enough without guys who ride stallions bareback, and then take photos of themselves doing so, one might think.

Flags are for idiots.

No matter what the colors.

Flag waving is barbaric.

I would rather throw tomatoes than wave a flag.

Humans are just as logical as the chimpanzee.

So, bombs away, baby!

Kubrick new this.

Was it really necessary to expand NATO eastward?

Was it worth it?

Revolution must come from within.

Self-determination means just that, baby.

Without this unnecessary, constant eastward expansion of NATO, we would not have the current "Ukrainian-Problem". Putin said for years, that he may have to take "countermeasures" if the NATO expansionism does not come to an end. Well, NATO expansionism didn't come to an end. Now he is taking "countermeasures". Big surprise? Hardly.

And, then comes the fantastic question. In what bracket do you count yourself? Humans? Nice to know, that some people you do not have to insult. They are pure pros, and do it to themselves. ????

So, then you mean it´s ok? Do you think that Samsung, just have to tell Apple to not expand more? Then magically they just get a piece of the market for free. NATO, is not harmful to any country that do not engage in bad <deleted>.

Economic expansion can hardly be compared to "Political/Military" expansion. With the intent of the Ukraine and Georgia to join NATO, for Vladimir in the Kremlin, a "red-line" was crossed.

What does a human/chimpansee do when feeling cornered and encircled? He ist taking "counter-measures" to break the encirclement. What is new or surprising about this?

Molotov proposed in 1954 that the USSR join NATO. Yeltsin in 1991 suggested that it was "Russia's long-term aim to join NATO", so let them join too...

Better having Russia as a NATO member than waiting for the fallout of a creepy Russia-China alliance.

(Extra bonus: if China had a long northern border 'with NATO', what would be the odds of them trying to invade Taiwan?)

You don't understand, NATO needs a clear and present danger in order to secure money from it's members. Without the obvious enemy, Russia, it would lose all it's funding.

And the US would lose even further influence as the self appointed world policeman

'What is wrong' with China, North Korea, Iran... ?

China, under Xi Jinping, has a clearly expansionist agenda, and is, IMHO, 10x as dangerous as Putin or the former USSR. And North Korea, run by nutcases, is also a major nuclear threat.

What's the point of NATO in the 21st century, 'bottled up' in Europe and North America?

Not, anything, more than that the rest of the world not seen to that the chimpansee has reached the status of rigor yet.

Very interesting and, especially, thoughtful post, in fact.
