It could be that your friends back in the UK morally disagree with the principal of prostitution and thus have no interest in going to Pattaya ? Google tells me that about 50% more older men want a relationship than older women. You don't get to be a hot prospect till north of 77. I'm in a happy, still romantic, low libido relationship. And most of them have dabbled with the local call out girls. £120 for an hour with someone looking at their watch every 2 minutes because they need to go to their next job. If the guys I knew when I was younger knew what Thailand was really like they'd give up local girls in a flash if they were wealthy enough to be able to afford it. However back then flying was so much more expensive, but much more fun than flying now. I remember the good old days in Thailand, where you paid for short-time, and they decided they liked your room, air-con and fridge so much more than their bug infested hovel, that they stayed all night, then went to breakfast with you next morning. It gets conflated with; affection, lust, sex, companionship, the list goes on. Me and Mrs G are of a similar age, she's in her 50's and I'm in my 60's. Sometimes it's had to think that we met a quarter century ago, in was I have to say was the definitive tawdry office romance. But here we are, we've both added a few pounds, she's a little grayer and I'm a little balder, but I still think she's the hottest babe on the planet and I'm still the same studly stud I was 20 odd years ago. But we've settled in to that latter life love, comfortable with each other for all our mutual flaws, we've had our kids, all now adult, still have great sex, albeit not like the rabbits we once were! But all that grows through time, and after 50, you know the road ahead is getting shorter, and I dunno if I'd be prepared to put in the leg work to get to that point anymore, whereas in younger relationships you do, whether it's for kids, passion, lust, great sex I don't know. My first flight to the region cost me £150 inclusive, for a 15 day duration. Another £70 if I wanted to extend it a week. BA Courier flight. There were always bargains for those who sought them out.
