Well over ten yaers ago while in the Philippines i saw a Honda XRM,great looking bike

and i was going to get one of those but guess what?

Not available in Thailand.

Now finally in Thailand they are coming up with some crossover small bikes.

I would really want one for going camping because they look pretty rugged and they have great

specs.

A new one is going to be too expensive for me so i am hoping to find a second hand one in a year or two.

The first picture is of the Honda in the Phillies. The last picture is of the bike i use now.

Why not happy w/ the Yamaha?

The Yamaha is a great bike but off road i would like to have a little bit more

clearance and the front shocks bottom out .

You have clearance problems on the Yamaha.?

Jumping logs or what?

The Yamaha would prolly have same clearance and

suspension as the yellow Honda.

.A used Honda CT125 be really hard to find.

Premium bike; ~B100K new.

KLX150 maybe.

Many 2nd hand from ~50K.

Put off-road tires on a normal bike and that will solve 80% of the problems.

I.e. I have Suzuki Raider 150. With the right tires that should be able to handle lots of bad roads.

Looks to me the XRM has a longer front fork so probably will not bottom out so much.

Also slightly wider handle bars will make riding a lot more comfortable.

I have 50/50 tires on my Yamaha and that does very well in dry sand and also in mud

gives me enough traction.

What i do not like about the CT125 is the way the exhaust is fitted.

No room for saddle bags ans my pipes would also be a nono.

You could be right about this.

XRM is still in production in PP, therefore

it should be possible to order parts for upgrade of Yam.

√ intereweb.

Maybe could find parts locally.

It should be possible to extend Yammy handlebars

by welding, soldering or attaching extension by adhesive, mechanically, ...

somehow.  You could figure something..

Why?

KLX has clearance.

You should buy one.

Just got back from a MX event outside of town.

Many many racers.

One of the classes is modified 125cc underbones/Waves.

These bikes have modified from ends.

So check w/ a dirt-bike shop that caters to these guys.

The CT125 Trail 125 is new.  But it looks like Kawasaki doesn't offer the street-legal KLX150's on their web site now.  Or the KLX250/300's. They do show the D-Tracker 150.  Yamaha has the WR155R but it's pricey.

Suzuki has a new 113cc Raider J Crossover.
