Daily News Thai Caption: Dreadful!

A  man went to see his neighbor in Soi Wat Jampa, Nonthaburi.

But he was alerted to an unpleasant odor coming from an area near an outside wall.

The first thing that the neighbor saw was a foot sticking out under debris beneath a tamarind tree.

It was an unidentified man aged about 40-45 who had been dead about 2-3 days, forensics at the scene determined, reported Daily News.

The neighbor said he walked that way every day for ten years and had never seen anything untoward and thought the deceased was not from there.

That guy was dead for past 2-3 days, how this walking neighbour would have seen him in his decade long walk?  Also I like that he never missed a day. Never took a vacation and was never sick at least for last 10 year. This is too much info to process!

It says the man went to see his neighbour that day when he noticed the dead body, presumably that man doesn't go chatting to his neighbour every day thus not noticing the dead man on his daily walks...

Or smelled? As soon as I heat a piece of chicken or some garden peas in the microwave, all the Thai neighbours in the house know and loudly complain about 'the smell'. And this guy didn't smell a dead body after 2 days, here in the tropics?

Yeah, it is! But it´s only regarding your comment, as you are just digging too much into this.

No mention of where the neighbour is though, one would think the stench of a decomposing body would be pretty obvious in around the place
