Video: All quiet in Thai hospital ER - then all hell breaks loose!

Sanook Thai Caption Revenge on hospital staff

 

Sanook published a video of violence in a Thai hospital Emergency Room that has been doing the rounds of Facebook.

 

All was quiet in the Phon Na Kaew Hospital in Sakon Nakhon in Thailand's NE. The nurses and helpers were milling about, beds were empty.

 

Fast forward to 1.30 on the video and all hell breaks loose - many people come rushing in including a man in a motorcycle helmet wielding a wooden club.

Krittaphat, a hospital employee was being chased, by Thanongsak, 29.

 

Thanongsak is now in police custody and Krittaphat is recovering from facial injuries and bruising. 

 

Thanongsak told police that he was angry with the staffer after he hurt him during drug rehabilitation therapy. 

 

Krittaphat was amazed that the grudge had festered in the mind of the former patient.

 

He thanked staff and posters for their support.

Ah yes I understand. You mean the people running away from the nutter with the baseball bat are all crazy and the ones trying to stop him are also crazy. fact is, sadly, there is often such violent behavior in A&E departments around the world, due in the main because it's a melting pot of people from society. what is required is effective and professional security for the staff and other patients.
