I think they need to retest the Toyotas, as they got caught submitting superior vehicles and data for certification better than they produced :cheesy:

Joining VW in being extremely untrustworthy manufacturers ... IMHO

Love it when folks state you can trust Toyota & legacy aute makers :cheesy:

Now they have a new legacy, some as the old legacy :coffee1:

15% Cost saving to Byd on Blade 2 battery and 10% cost saving on other parts total cost savings 25% it will be  interesting to see what % of costing savings will be passed on to end customers

Just a note that could come in handy:

Original Blue Book and CRV car purchase at Chonburi in 2012.

New blue book when transfered to Kalasin province.

I did not keep the original Blue Book as had the new Blue Book.

When selling a car you need the 1st origional Blue Book or the dealer offers you B30000 less, and someone needing finance can't get it without the 1st Blue Book.

Seems pretty basic but always keep the 1st Blue Book.

More enquiries today, but seems you can't get another 1st Blue Book.

5 years ago, the Japanese manufacturers had Thailand carved up amongst themselves.

Fast forward and the auto world is upside down

That's roughly a 50/50 split EV/ICE.

When I transferred registration from Chonburi to Yaso, I didn't get a new book at Yaso.

The new registration number and province were noted on the cover of the old book.

I'm remembering more now, we couldn't find the first book, just think we had a copy.

Was told not to leave the original book in the car, just a copy.

So over the years not sure what happened to it...wifey has all these secret hiding spots, but could have been me who misplaced it.

Wow, that's amazing.

But BEVs are a fad and people don't want them of course.

I'm trying to trade mine, as I want one of those economical Celerios ...

... but nobody wants my ZS ... 😭 😭 😭

Good luck on finding "any maintenance/shop" manual on EVs.   All I've ever seen is the owners manual.

Why would one need that? There are no parts that the ordinary person can repair or change. Except cabin air filter or fill up the water for wipers

Posting 18 times on the dedicated thread of the same topic wasn't enough for you.

Think about this, before you reply, next time someone implies you may be trolling, just a wee bit :cheesy:

Been to the Motor Expo yesterday just for casually looking around what new models are entering the Thai market. Still happy with my MG4 purchased about 1,5 years ago. As expected, many SUVs and crossover designs on show, which I don't like.

If I had to buy a EV car now, it would probably the Geely EX5 or Zeekr X. Similar size and price range as the MG4 one year ago.

Looking forward to Zeekr 001 but still have four more years to finish payments for the MG.

Let's see how many real purchases are finally coming from this bookings. Taking into consideration, that the overall Car Market is 30-40% down and financing is refused in 70% of all cases I guess we will see a much more smaller number of new Cars.

One person in one of the brand facebook groups has placed reservations  for 5 of the same model  as the brand in question announced last week  that after the motor show closed they wouldn't be accepting any new reservations until January 2025

When EV 3.0 subsidy was announced in 2022 and there was long waiting lists for EV sometimes 9+ months there were people selling their reservations for a profit the price depended on colour of vehicle and the  reservation raking (How close they were to getting their vehicle) of the seller

I assume they will be a market for people willing to buy an existing reservation rather than wait until January 2026
