Many people had set up stalls advertising "Krathom Tea For Sale" as well as the leaves of the plant. Thai Rath said that they believed that processing the leaves for sale as tea was illegal. On the highway traders sell the tea for between 50 and 150 baht and even have fizzy and sweet concentrated versions of the drug. The pandemic had been bad for her so she needed income. Stocky Posted April 22, 2022 Share Posted April 22, 2022 It's a grey area. My daughter grows kratom on their farm, they sell the bundled leaves to a company in Hat Yai. They have considered extracting the juice and shipping the concentrate, but people have been arrested for selling the concentrate, so they stick to the leaves only.
