Thai media continued to report on the disappearance of a couple and two children from their house in Sukhothai, northern Thailand.

Nirut Bunchu and his wife Nareumol Petchbunmee, both 41, went missing on April 10th with their two youngest children aged 12 and 7.

Now police have told Nirut's father Luan and their 19 year old daughter Hiranya that the family are safe, reported Thai Rath.

They flew from Suvarnabhumi on April 10th bound for Istanbul, Turkey.

Hiranya said that it was a relief that her parents and younger siblings were safe. She said she just wanted to give her mum and dad a hug and would not ask them why they had left Thailand. If they wanted to tell her it is up to them.

Luan also expressed his relief. Pressed by reporters about the couple reportedly fleeing debts of 10 million baht he said that he had no idea about that and just wants them to come back.

If a 10m baht debt is true, then worth tracking down & trying to recover some of.

Thanks for telling whoever where to find them ... ????  Anyone thinking they may kidnap the remaining daughter in Thailand until debt repaid.

I wonder how much of the so called 10m debt they still have, my guess would be a lot of it - they need money to live on in Turkey

How naive, they are in debt to some bad people.

They fled the country before things got ugly and left you behind... they won't be coming back anytime soon.

And if I was you I'd get a guard dog, bigger the better.

Living in Turkey may be punishment enough.

Surely they would need to undergo some sort of application and vetting system to stay in Turkey. It can't be that easy for a family to just turn up and decide to stay.

Unless they are on a holiday using the 10 mill.

10,000,000 Thai baht equals

4,347,983 Turkish lira, so they're still millionaires... ????
