Thailand as home, roaming the world tax free - the pipe dream
I agree. Everyone needs to look at their own financial situation in regards to source income (location/amounts) and also the time they wish to spend in Thailand , and the Thai visa that they have. For some it makes financial sense not to be a Thai resident. For others it does make financial sense to stay in Thailand and be considered a Thai resident. -

SKYPE Alternative?
If you find an alternative that you like can you please share it? I don't make many international calls but was always nice to have a cheap way to place calls anywhere in the world. I hope the free calling of 800 numbers keeps working even if I use up all of my credit. I also have a skype phone number and hope this keeps without a calling subscription. I use it for one time passwords for my banking but may need to find a different way to get these. -

In the case of German pensions (only) : German - Thai DTA. It passes taxation rights for German pensions to Thailand, the country of residency (assuming one is a resident of Thailand). -

There are EU countries (Germany for example) where pension is NOT taxed in the source country (Germany) for non-residents of Germany who are residents of Thailand. Read the German-Thailand DTA if you don't believe me. The German Taxation authorities even sent me a letter stating such, and asked that if my tax situation did not change, that i should stop filing a German tax return for my German pension income. I don't know about other EU countries, but the DTA of different EU countries with Thailand is VERY relevant here and blanket statements (that taxes MUST be paid at source for EU) are typically inaccurate - as there are exceptions. -

A disease so deadly, you don't even know you have it… I remember, back in France, in 2022, they were talking on MSM about a "concerning trend": people were trying to catch Covid intentionally in order to obtain a vax passport without having to get vaccinated. People trying to inoculate themselves with the "disease" to avoid having to take the "cure"… -

I truly believe the big push was from the big pharmacy companies that loved the idea of this DNA and RNA technology. It would allow them to make vats and tons of viral treatments very cheaply and quickly, which would lead to huge profits. It was an interesting technology as compared to say the current and common chick egg flu vaccine culture method. That takes months to start in advance of a season and they have to guess what strains to breed in advance which guarantees they won't breed the final versions needed, nor does that guarantee effectiveness. Neglecting possible or unknown negative effects of the manufactured DNA RNA vacccines, studies do admit that while they do stimulate some of the immune system, they do not do everything the other vaccine types do, either the weakened viruses or the dead virus vaccine methods.- 1
