Drew3223 Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Hi. My tourist visa expires on the 5th and I am taking a domestic flight with Bangkok Air on the 6th to Bangkok, and my international flight is that same night. Will the expiry even be looked at for boarding the domestic flight, and will it be okay if I show my onwards ticket out of the country?
Ohyesuare Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Sounds kind of risky since you use your passport as ID to travel domestically, why not just pay 1900 baht to extend it first? 1
DrJack54 Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 The airline will only look at identity page. Do you need to obtain boarding pass? Still you won't have an issue. 1

It is not a problem when traveling domestically. The only check the first page of a passport for identity purposes when checking in and at security. 2
BritTim Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 I assume you are referring to your permission to stay, and not the visa you used to enter Thailand. (The original visa's expiry date is irrelevant, and is no longer usable after entry if it is a single entry visa.)
