Testosterone is an over-the-counter medications here in Thailand and does NOT require a prescription to purchase.  Asking questions about who is stocking it is a perfectly valid question to post on this forum.

 

The cost of Testosterone through a hospital pharmacy is exorbitant so most who are under a doctor's care for TRT buy it at a regular pharmacy

 

Show some respect for others...and yourself by not making such inflammatory comments please.

I go to anti age center twice a year, do lab work when necessary, but buy my own medicine.

 

Hormones is the future for many soured depressed angry men above 50, who not even understand how it would or maybe could change their mood and life.

But again, not a quick long lasting fix if not having a healthy lifestyle, or want to do necessary changes if needed.

If you buy 20 boxes of Bayer, giving you 20 Amps, you should be able to negotiate a better price.  I believe I was offered around 4200, which was the price when it came in a box of 20.

It is illegal to sell. All testosterone drugs you can buy in Thailand are fake. Exept made in Thailand Cypionax. But fake doesn't mean useless, they work as real brand name drugs.

BTW Rotexmedica doesn't exist after rebranding in 2019

You make it sound like it is an underground lab which it is not.  The importer in Bangkok has nothing to hide and clearly print their full contact information including phone number on their packaging.

 

 

The most likely reason I think it may be unavailable is because, as you mentioned, the company has reorganized under a new name (PanPharma) and perhaps that's the reason for it to be temporarily off the shelves right now.

 

Of course, who really knows...when Bayer suddenly disappeared, nobody knew why, and to this day nobody really has a good explanation for that.  It just started to reappear again a couple of years, but now only sold in 1-vial packs for reasons I sure can't understand. 

 

BUT...for you to infer it is dangerous to use ROtexMedica simply because it is not registered in Thailand, which I saw you say in a post a couple of years ago, is really misleading and untrue.

I in no way inferred that there was anything wrong with the company and I most certainly did nto say or imply that their products are dangerous.

 

I simply stated, accurately, that this brand of testosterone is not currenlty listed in Mims and the company  (under either name) is not also listed in Mims.Which suggests not currently registered in Thailand.

 

As I also explained, such registration is costly to maintain. Companies may opt not to maintain registration (or a specific brand registration)  in Thailand because of the cost relative to he profits.

 

Nothing remotely to do with whether a company is reputable nor with whether a product is safe. But very relevant to whether a product can readily be found in Thai pharmacies.

Not only is their test product not listed, but Rotexmedica does not appear on the list of drug companies under either that name or its newer name of Panpharma.

 

Companies have to pay and go through red tape to maintain registration in Thailand, possibly that was the problem.

MIMS (is this a private company?) is probably just not accurate.

The Famous Peera in Chiang Mai had stock last August when I passed through there.

 

Bayer 250 mg and the Nebido, as well, Rotexmedica 250mg

 

They told me they shipping to. Do not remember price on Nebido, but Bayer was 250,- baht ampulle, Rotexmedica I believe was 200;- but not sure, since I was just interested in Bayer.

I have seen it on the shelf at Tim's. It was a while back.  I was in there a few days ago but you cannot see most of the shelves in there at present due to a big plastic sheet, completely across the whole front of the shop due to the pandemic. I'll be popping in tomorrow on the way to the gym as I was gonna query them about Rotexmedica. I'll ask them about Nebido and report back.

I know this is a little off subject. I was asked by customs if I had prescriptions for some medications I have been taking for years and bought online from the same online pharmacy. 5 mg Cialis for my BPH, Anavar for muscle atrophy do to a back injury, and testosterones capsules for my low T. I did have but customs said I need these prescriptions from a Thai doctor. I ask my cardiologist, here which I got this deer in the headlights look and was turned down. Its been almost a year since having these meds shipped and will need to reorder them soon. Any suggestion would be greatly apricated.

MIMS is a listing of all drugs on the market  in a number of countries, including Thailand. It is pretty accurate.

 

When something goes off market, or its registration expires, it will be removed from the list.

It is here and registered. But like other Bayer products was hard to get for quite a while. I don't know the stock situation now.

It is technically illegal to import any medication by post without an FDA import license, which you cannot get. Even if you had been abel to show a prescription, there might still have been an issue

 

In practice if small quantity and sent by regular post (never use a courier), customs will often allow it through provided not a controlled substance.  Cialis however  by Thai law is prescription only....and is a name customs officials would immediately recognize as such.

 

I would suggest you try again, this time without the Cialis and being sure to keep quantity small and sent by regular post.

 

There is a locally made Cialis equivalent in Thailand brand called Talafil which will cost less than Cialis brand.

 

You might also consider getting the testosterone caps here as well - no prescription needed.

 

Anavar is nto locall yavailable, so you would need to bring it in, but do so in small qualntitiy.

They are all available in Thailand, so you could just buy them here.

But Anavar is problematic because it's not available from proper brands, so you can't be 100% sure what you get.

Shouldn't testosterone also help against muscle atrophy, why do you need two steroids? Discuss with a doctor if just testosterone alone is enough.

The Testosterones caps and Cialis were prescribed by my family doctor, the Anavar by a neurologist. Both doctor are from the US. I did let both know of the others prescriptions.

Sheryl, thanks for the reply. I have done a little research to find an online pharmacy here in Thailand so I will give that a try. Anavar I will look at some online sites in Europe like the UK and Germany maybe.

Nope. Don't confuse Testosterone and Thai FDA approved steroids with underground lab steroids. FDA approved steroids can be sold without a prescription but must be sold by the pharmacist and the sale recorded. Non FDA registered steroids are not legal to import/sell, but are not in the same category of illegality as drugs of addiction.

 

As for them being fake, I have talked to Bayer on more than one occasion about drugs they supply in Thailand. Brand name could be counterfeited but the genuine article is supplied here.

 

With Underground steroids you are really relying on the ethics and competence of the packager and the maker of the raw chemical they buy from, usually a Chinese company.

Sure you can come off testosterone, you should then do a PCT though. The problem with the PCT is that the drugs are all controlled drugs in Thailand and you have to see a doctor for them, but that's not a big deal, just tell the doctor you want to come off testosterone and he will probably give them to you.

If you started with testosterone because you had low testosterone levels you will of course have low testosterone levels again, even after your testis start working again.

Thanks for the effort and looking at Tim´s! Very good, so then I know it is possible. It is more than double price from Europe for the drug. The full price is about 4000 THB in Europe. But it is possible at least.

I checked with the Maximun clinic and they have it too and they want 15 000 THB for administrate Nebido every 10-12 weeks. They are also doing a lot of bloodtests (33) every time that I actually don´t want. One time/year is enough I think. So they are expensive. Are they the only options there are in BKK? Is it not possible to get this done in every big government hospital? Maybe Sheryl know about that?

I'm only in Pattaya 99% of the time, so don't know about BKK.

 

If you can purchase the product I'm sure any clinic will give you the shot for a few hundred baht without doing tests. I know a few people that have done that around Pattaya.
