Hey

Any recommendations for good and affordable visa agencies in Bangkok? Will hire someone to help me get a multiple re-entry permit.

Thanks.

Hard to  imagine a reason to use an agent for a multiple entry re-entry permit as nothing is needed but your passport and application form . Very, very easy.

You don't need an agent.

If your flying out from BKK they provide a 200baht service to fill in form.

Or do it yourself at airport at departure. Need form and photo and 3800baht.

When applying for a re-entry permit you will need to submit the following:

A completed TM-8 form.

The correct fee.

Colored photo (4cm x 6cm)

Photocopy of passport (main page and latest entry stamp

If planning to leave by air through Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang, just get the re-entry permit at the airport on departure. It takes less than 20 minutes, and is even easier than using an agent to get a re-entry permit.

Thank you! Any idea how long the lines usually are for this at the immigration building in Chaeng Wattana? Would rather pay 1000 baht to an agency than spending several hours waiting there.

The que for reentry permit would be small.

To be honest in 10 years here and obtaining reentry permit every year pre covid, I have never even bothered obtaining reentry permit at CW.

I go each year and the norm is to after annual extension granted go and get another que # for reenter permit desk.

Have never done it! Why, because it's so damn easy at the airport.

If you wish to use an agent then do so.
