ColeBOzbourne
The evening prior to your hangover, limit your consumption of alcohol. It prevents being hungover the next day every damn time.
sipi
I'm a slow learner, but after a few decades I've finally worked it out. Forget the berocca, coffee, Panadol, bacon and eggs, hair of the dog.. Water. The answer is water. Just a glass or two, before, during and after.

Two glasses of water before retiring to bed helps the system detoxify alcohol, which is a diuretic. It makes one pee more, resulting in dehydration. The dehydration is what causes the hangover. Berocca probably does nothing, it's the water that is used to wash the tablet down that does.
zzaa09
A good hearty Tom Yum or Khao Tom [with all the fixins] before retiring. Guaranteed. 1

daveAustin
Plenty of B vitamins. Has worked for me in the past. Carbon tabs however are a lot better before and after drinking, + lots of water.

Orange juice is better......the vitamin C is needed to help break toxins from the digestion of the alcohol.......or so I have read. Drink it through the night as often as possible.

Helps to rehydrate that buzz in the morning when you wake up.......why not just grab a new 5th of your favorite bottle and tipple it back before your feet hit the floor.... An electrolyte solution contains sodium, potassium, vitamin B and other helpful ingredients. Beer has water but is a diuretic, like coffee/tea, which causes dehydration by increasing urination. A good remedy for dehydration is pure water, electrolyte solution even better. Edited June 1, 2022 by ColeBOzbourne

I drink minerals salts daily. Magnesium great to stop joint pain and muscle fatigue.
