And some cheap seeds from Facebook. Planted 50 seeds 2 days back, and the first one (Super Lemon in a Jiffy pellet) is already up. I've planted half the seeds in a 50/50 peat moss/soil mix. I'm trying to move away from hydro. My latest clone is going into a 50/50 peat moss bag soil mix. So far this year my best plants were germinated and planted in bag soil. Everything I ever planted in Rockwool failed. On the other hand, I planted this tray on Sunday half using Jiffy pellets, and half using peat moss/bag soil mix (50/50). I have never had green fingers, but I potted the germinated seeds on Saturday night and put them outside. This was today(Tues) so I must be doing something right. A suggestion using Jiffy's, the net should be exposed above the growing media as it will wick moisture from the root zone with a fan blowing over them, or high heat from a lamp. I'm having a problem with seedlings stretching as well. What kind of light are you using above them and how close to their leaves can you get it?
