Featured Replies

Hi, Can anyone tell me if you can use the same photos as used before when applying for new extension, Thanks

You should provide new photos every year.

I have read posts of people using the same photos but there is risk immigration could pull out your previous application and notice they are the same photos.

When I did mine In April they specifically asked me if I had given new photos. As Joe suggests they require new photos each year.

Thanks Alan, A bit of a pain to do every year.

What taking photos ? The point of an extension based on marriage is that us foreign men are married to a Thai lady.  Now do you know any Thai lady that does not like taking photos, mostly for the sake of it, and often never looked at again ? I don't and if they are anything like my wife why should it be a pain to let them do it once a year ?

I always make sure I wear a different coloured shirt in the photo to that I wore in the previous year.

I have been using copies of my original application and no problem.  Gone through three or four extensions.  The only problem I had is they do not like a stamp of your signature.  Had to actually sign over both copies of all forms.

Happy,

your experience is just that…your experience only and doesn’t reflect what immigration wants or tells you that they want new photos annually….

As I've said before they can be quite Eagle Eyed, last year one officer said "Oh you have new fridge"
