Bangkok ranked 2nd best city worldwide, best in Asia for digital nomads

The survey must have been conducted at a local chimp sanctuary.

The pollution factor alone wouldn't get it in the top ten, add to that the dirty streets!

As for not being dangerous it probably isn't from the people, unless your on one of the islands! but factor in the road fatalities the overhanging wiring etc etc ....its laughable to suggest 2nd place.

Meh.

In a similar survey a few days ago, Kansas City was named #1 in the world, which is laughable at best. I don't put much stock in these worthless rankings.

Affordable wines - except BKK

Yes, Bangkok ticks many boxes in my book...
I am glad to be home again.

Agreed….

While Thailand has its negatives (I’ve been accused to many times by hapless fools of being a Thai brasher), it has so many positives that make it an ideal from where to base ourselves… (even for non grumpy old men & sex pests)….

Ask any digital nomad and someone who can work remotely & most of them will suggest Bkk is ideal….   Internet price, reliability & speed, cost of living, great food etc, cheap accommodation, cheap transport….

That’s pretty much what the article states but most critical readers failed to comprehend.

I would be really interested to know what work these 1 billion digital nomads do. I can understand maybe if you are a writer or software developer but what sort of other work can be done thousands of miles away from your office/co-workers/customers.
