Boots pension payable to surviving Thai wife in Thailand

Featured Replies

The Thai wife of a departed friend receives  a widows pension from Boots UK, coming up to 4 years now.

She has been told by someone that it is only payable for 5 years which I think is probably not correct but said I will try and find out on her behalf.

She has written and emailed Boots but they do not reply.

Anybody able to provide the correct information?

Thanks

Some pension plans have a time limit as to how long a survivor can collect benefits.  I do not know specifically what Boots policy is but 5 years could be the limit?

It is why I am asking the question if anyone actually knows, and specifically Boots.
