Farang is just how Thais say the French word for "foreign".

Where did you get that info from ?

It is a theory based on the history of French influence in SE Asia, my familiarity with the French language and my experience with Thais mangling farang words.

Yes, let's not bring radical theories like it not being right to punch women even if you're married to them to Thailand! Status quo is obviously better.

Of course, the thousands upon thousands of victims of domestic abuse might have a different opinion....:coffee1:

There's nothing radical about not puncing people. You have some fairly anti social ideas . Thousands of victims of domestic violence would have a different opinion to you.

Gender studies started and are much more popular in Europe. If you think "Americans" are out to get you, consult a psychiatrist.

I think some Americans feel their culture is superior to others and try to force it on them.

Do you seriously believe that anyone who disagrees with rad fem ideology feels domestic violence is OK? My point is their theories don't work, did you miss that part?

Right. But I'd suggest that the "real" angry white men hail from the USA...

Trust me.  The United States does not have the monopoly on racial hatred.  There are enclaves where it exists in the United States, but it's not the norm, not in the last 40 years. I've live in the US South.  Trust me.  I've met white bigots and racists.  In 2022, they are not the norm.  The norm tends to be racism focused at those who are of European decent, just because of their ethnicity.  Most people I have know throughout my life have been very tolerant unless someone attacked them personally based on their own race.  Well, except back in the 1950s and 60s.  That was sad an inexcusable.
I'm someone who stood side-by-side for what Dr. Martin Luther King professed.  Brothers and sisters standing side-by-side in unity of spirit and humanity, and not by exclusion of race.

That's something to ponder.

And just why are you focusing on a few extremists?

I'm not focusing on them, you selected it from a longer post and I got the impression you felt ppl who didn't agree with them were in favor of domestic violence. I'm surprised you see them as extremists, if so we are in agreement. However there are more than a few and their theories heavily influence governments in the UK, Aust, Sweden and Canada.

There are Thai feminists you know, they are campaigning for the legalization of sex toys, pornography and sex work. Completely opposite to rad fem ideology.

Perhaps they are only targeted when they express intolerant views?

Or perhaps they are only targeted when they express views that people don't like - intolerant or otherwise.

I have a very thick skin, but I too am coming to the conclusion that we are becoming the new "minorities".

and you obviously have a problem with that? Racists call it "white replacement theory". It's heavily pushed by Tucker Carlson.

Most Americans barely know that the rest of the world exists. Even nearby Mexico and the Carrib are of no interest, beyond being vacations destinations. And even there, most Americans only bother to go to a few places.

And please tell me the place on earth where the inhabitants don't think their culture is superior.

Can you share a single personal example of an American trying to force something on you?

rad fem ideology

When is this ever encountered in real life? Have you had even a single encounter with a "rad fem"?

When was it? 1974? It's an honor to meet a time traveller.

White people don't make enough babies to replace themselves, brown-skinned people do. So it's more like race-giving up than race replacement.

The guy who mows my lawn is 74 years old, when he finally slumps over the ride-on mower, I hope some go-getter who has swum the Rio Grande will do it. Because no younger white person will.

This theory that Mex people moving here as part of a Democrat plot to win elections is undercut by the fact that Trump won 41% of them, an eight point shift towards the Republicans, that is now continuing in a Texas election.

It was Latins in Florida who buried Hillary.
