The conspiracy nonsense is that Epstein was murdered and that Maxwell is only alive because she has "records tucked away".

We know nothing more than what is provided for us in open channels, but we are free to believe anything we want!? Right?

To many powerful people involved, and no doubt someone is pulling the strings somehow.

You might want to ask Prince Andrew about that but, again, she helped groom Ms Guifrye for Epstein.  Epstein later arranged for the Prince and the young lady to have a little fling.

No evidence nor proof of this whatsoever, meantime Ghislaine  Maxwell faces 20 years plus in jail after a farcical trial. Hardly surprising Andrew was advised not to go anywhere near an American court.

Lord knows! Like lots of rich weird fockers ... Epstein cultivated many clients (victims, clients, co-conspirators or whatever) and ran with that select group of rich powerful and privileged people. He sure had a lot of and some very regular visitors to all his homes and his so described very weirdly freaky 'Fantasy Island'. If Ponce Andrew was into children of teen age then who knows what may have gone down (plz excuse the unintended pun) with others spending tine with him and his pimp. The vile Trump, pre his infecting of the White house with his fast food obsessed stench (a serial sex offender, self-confessed) was amongst his circle, Senators, other Presidents, industrialists you name it.

And so it begins...

She didn't drop any influential people in the kybo.

My crystal ball says 5 to 7 years on appeals possibly out on bail in 4.

She's in the federal prison system in the US. Unless her sentence is overturned, she will serve a minimum of 85% of her sentence. She can earn a 15% (54 days per year) reduction of her sentence through other programs. At my age, I doubt I will be around to see her released.

Claims she was not found quilty beyond a shadow of doubt. But the jury unanimously did. Not liking a jury verdict is not grounds for appeal.

Epstein committed suicide after his conviction. She can't force him into court on appeal for testimony or cross examination.

It took too long for her trial and verdict. A confession would have greatly sped up the process.

Not enough time to prepare her case. A fault of her lawyers, not the prosecution. The Constitution guarantees a speedy trial. Embrace your rights.

One jurist is alleged to be a secret victim of sex abuse. Now her lawyers claiming? If true her lawyers failed to question the jurist under oath and/or use an automatic challenge to dismiss the potential jurist.

Her appeal will fail.

They are guilty as well  because if you have sex with underage girls  ( at least in the US ) you are guilty of ststutory rape and sex trafficking if they have crossed state  lines.  You can't just get a stable of underage girls and then provide their services to people without them being guilty  as well.  Say in US or even Tailand if you have a bar/house and provide the serviice of underage girls  yes you are guilty of sex traffiking but anyone who  you share or have pay for these girls is also guilty of  tradffikibg and stsautory rape and  will go to jail..   Seems  Epstien  ( I  heard ) provided Prince Andrew with underage girl and he had to pay $10 million dolars to settle the claim.

I often wonder if anyone actually followed the Epstein-Maxwell case.   Maxwell was instrumental in finding and procuring young girls to give massages to Epstein.  Those girls would then be lured into further sexual activity over time.  What started out as a well-paid job giving a massage led to further exploitation.  There was no stable of young girls.  Many of those lured in, felt uncomfortable and left. Some, who were probably a little more cautious, were kept as household staff until they could be groomed into sexual activity.   Those who could be more easily manipulated and were probably enamored with the wealth and lifestyle (as well as the money), stuck around.

Maxwell, in a few cases, also talked to the girls' mothers about their job.  She could make things sound pretty legitimate.  A 50+ year old man would have a little trouble providing a credible story as to what his intentions were with their 15-year-old daughter.  Maxwell, a well-educated socialite, provided the perfect cover.  There is no indication, however, that Maxwell provided these services for anyone other than Epstein.  She most certainly knew that some were being used by others, but she wasn't an active participant.

She may have been more active, but proving that in Court may have been trickier, so it was much easier to charge her with what they could reasonably believe they could get a conviction on.

The Feds raided Epstein's home in NY (and eventually his other homes).  They took computers and other material.  I am sure they have the names and any incriminating information they need, but from all appearances, it seems the vast majority of those who Epstein 'shared' with the rich and famous were of age and willing participants.

I suspect the younger ones, were more or less his private collection.

They need to go after the clients…..but they never will

There's no realistic prospect (or in many cases, viable legal means) of doing so.

As I've pointed out several times now, the statute of limitations and the lack of physical or other corroborating evidence, beyond the victims own testimony, would make any prosecution almost (or indeed, legally) impossible at this stage.

She has a French passport and had plenty of time to see this trial coming. There is no extradition from France to the US. She could be in Paris and the hi-life. What was she thinking.

Age of consent is 15 in France, so they wouldn't have extradited her even if there was an agreement.

There is an extradition treaty and the concept of pimping is very extensive in the French law.

Very plausible theory.
