77kaoded Thai Caption: Lots of war weapons

77kaoded reported that thirty officers from a regional force and the tourist police served a search warrant on a man in Phatthalung, southern Thailand.

They published a picture of Chit Meesee, 58, with some weapons and bullets on a table surrounded by about 20 of the officers.

They said there was lots of war weapons found. There was one AK 47 and a few rifles, the odd magazine and bullets.

Chit had stashed them in a rubber plantation after a friend was raided by police earlier in July.

Aphisit Chimpoon, 29, was also arrested at another address in Kongra district.
