I'm a Tanzanian citizen with a green card travelling to Thailand in July. I just wanted to know the "real" requirements for a tourist visa. The thaivisa.com website info conflicts with what they (embassy in NY) told me over the phone. Also my ticket from Boston to Thailand to Boston is from July 6th to August 24th. I'm planning on visiting India for the month of August. Do I need a multiple entry visa??

Apply for a double entry visa.  You will use 1 entry when you first arrive in Thailand from the US and use the second when you arrive from India.
However a Tanzanian works it he/she needs a visa PRIOR to each entry. Where was the mis-information on Thai Visa ???
