77kaoded reported that the Phatthalung police took action after a 14 year old child was abducted from Nakhon Sri Thammarat.

The parents went to the police there but they did nothing. So they went to the media in their city who contacted counterparts in the far south in the case that concerns a "person of influence".

The girl was put in a pick-up by her employer and driven south.

The parents needed help - they are dirt poor and only had the money to get to the south, not for board and lodging when there.

The Phatthalung police were able to help the parents after they arrived. They went to a house in Jong Thanon sub-district.

The man who abducted her - Moo, 29 - ran off and after a hunt could not be located.

But the parents were reunited with their daughter amid many tears.

They were shown where the young teen was tied to a bed and threatened if she tried to escape.

Investigations continue.

Child abducted and they would do nothing ...

but get the media involved ,they spring into action ,

I hope the Police who did nothing are investigated too,

pleased the parents got their child back, now need to

find the person who held her captive , the media needs

to stay on the case ,as it's supposed to be "Person of influence".
