Passengers, crew rescued after boat catches fire off coast of Chumphon

Twenty people on a passenger boat were rescued this afternoon after the vessel caught fire, possibly caused by an engine fault. The boat was in rough seas about 5 km from the coast of Muang district of Chumphon province.

Sri Racha ice delivery truck swept away by high tide and falls into river

An ice delivery truck carrying one Thai and two Burmese workers was swept away by a high tide and fell into a river in Sri Racha. The Thai worker was able to swim out of the truck and survived while two others were still missing.
