1FinickyOne
Have you tried your sink and shower? I knew an airline pilot who used to shower w/his t-shirt on and soap it up then take it off and shower himself...

Some personal like yourself may not be too concerned about money especially if you only got a few years left I guess. Jingthing
Yeah many are rip offs for sure.as they're after tourists. My washing machine broke so I decided to try service. What I did was negotiate to be a regular customer and to pay less for item types that don't need ironing.

Laundry here is, for instance. 4. I use the laundry all the time since I divorced the "maid". 5. Seems I've got more of a clue than you have, I'm not asking a forum for cheap laundries. It's where many of the independent laundries would take your clothes anyway. From 40 baht for the washing machine(9kgs) and 40 baht for the dryer. You have on Thappraya and Jomtien Beach area. 9 kgs for 40 + 40 baht. 14kg for 60 baht + 40 baht for drying.

I even had one place sew small pieces of red thread into each item to indicate they were washed. Kind of crazy if you wear one pair of underwear a day. I started using the 24 hr self-service laundrymat late at night when the staff were asleep. ????♂️ (The Thai's have a thing about laundry and get nervous if a farang is in their doing it on their own. They will hover around and want to do it for you, or just act weird about it. I had it happen all over.) I took my clothes, towels etc. in Chiang Mai to a laundry which was run by an ex-policeman, his wife, and daughter. In ten years, they never lost or damaged a single item, and the socks always were matched perfectly. From memory, a very packed basket was about 140 baht.
